Complementary feed for horses

Procartil is a liquid complementary feed containing chondroitin sulphate, glucosamine, hyaluronic acid, and plant extracts that help maintain the physiological condition of joints.

When to use it

Procartil is the ideal complementary feed for maintaining healthy, fluid, and free-moving joints. Ideal for all horses that participate in sports and intense activities. Procartil can also be particularly useful for horses approaching senior age.

Properties of its elements

Procartil contains 150 g of chondroitin sulfate, 150 g of glucosamine and 150 g of methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) in each package. Chondroitin sulfate and glucosamine are responsible for regenerating and protecting cartilage (90). Methylsulfonylmethane, on the other hand, is known for its health-promoting properties. Pratt et al. have shown that, in adult horses, 55% of the sulfur contained in MSM is absorbed by the body and accumulated in the blood. The analytical technique used demonstrated that MSM is probably absorbed intact by the body (21).

Instructions for use

Use 5 cl (=50 ml) of Procartil per day (first mark on the measuring cup) for a recommended period of 30 consecutive days (one full bottle). It is recommended to use Procartil in regular cycles throughout the year.
