Although they are not essential nutrients, the administration of nucleotides can become of fundamental importance in case of insufficient ingestion with the feed ration, during periods of intense growth and in the presence of various pathologies.
They represent a fundamental nutritional factor in the repair of intestinal mucosal lesions.
Laltide administered for 4 weeks to trotters and gallopers (control group study) resulted in an increase in BMI (Body Mass Index), compared to the untreated group, of 2% in trotters and 1.4% in gallopers, respectively. These increases were correlated with improved athletic performance and a reduced
