The technical composition of the gel, in addition to supporting and cushioning the rider's torso, reduces trauma to the lower abdomen and neck in the event of sudden movements. The gel is lined, on the upper part, with Acavallo Dri-Lex, a fabric that combines hydrophobic and hydrophilic fibers in a unique composite structure. The inner layer stays dry, while the outer layer acts as a micro-reservoir for sweat, literally vaporizing moisture. Dri-Lex fabrics are designed to enhance the work nature normally does; their function is to rapidly wick away moisture to keep the body dry and comfortable. The seat cover features an elastic strap with Velcro that runs lengthwise along the bottom of the saddle and attaches to the cushions, without altering the normal saddle support.
