The Acavallo Classic Gel and Memory Foam Close Contact Compensator combines the non-slip and shock-absorbing properties of Acavallo classic Gel models with the shock-absorbing properties of memory foam and a tapered shape that ensures deep contact between the compensator and the horse's back. A major strength of the Gel is that it prevents any unwanted movement of the saddle in any direction: forward, backward, and sideways. The gel is also able to compensate for small imperfections in the horse's back, making it suitable even for slightly more rounded backs. The anatomical cut of the compensator and the technical characteristics of the memory foam allow the pad to adapt and deeply shape the horse's silhouette, also allowing for the distribution of surface pressure over a large area. These characteristics are combined with the ability to absorb shock, dampen vibrations and regulate the horse's body temperature. Acavallo Classic Gel is hypoallergenic, non-toxic and does not react negatively when in contact with the skin, characteristics which allow the compensator to be used directly in contact with it.
