The Acavallo Respira Air-Release Gel Compensator allows for continuous horizontal airflow thanks to its innovative new gel structure. The Gel's design features a multitude of small bulges with lateral perforations that allow for even more effective, horizontally oriented air circulation and greater shock absorption. In addition to creating a cushioning effect each time they are compressed, the bulges generate a cooling airflow that keeps the horse's hindquarters perfectly dry. This new technical structure also allows for the use of less material, resulting in a substantial reduction in the compensator's weight. A major strength of the Gel is that it prevents any unwanted movement of the saddle in any direction: forward, backward, and sideways. The Gel also compensates for small imperfections in the horse's back, making it suitable for even slightly more rounded backs. The central part of the compensator is thinner, allowing it to better adapt to the horse's withers and back, thus ensuring greater space between saddle and the gel, allowing for continuous air circulation. The Acavallo Classic Gel is hypoallergenic, non-toxic, and does not react negatively to contact with the skin, characteristics that allow the compensator to be used directly in contact with it.
