The compensator also features a built-in front riser, making it ideal for situations requiring a lift at the withers. The non-slip, shock-absorbing, hexagonal-shaped gel of this compensator, combined with a microfleece-covered memory foam pad on the lower part, makes it breathable, shock-absorbent, and able to adapt perfectly to the horse's back. Thanks to the hexagonal gel structure, air is compressed within the compensator's cells and is automatically expelled as the horse moves, creating an air cushion under the saddle , making it suitable for any style and size of English saddle . The central section of the compensator is thinner, allowing it to better adapt to the horse's withers and back, thus ensuring greater space between saddle and the gel, allowing for continuous air circulation. The technical characteristics of the memory foam allow the pad to adapt and deeply mold to the horse's shape, also distributing surface pressure over a large area.
