Calm Mg (5 Kg)

Calm Mg is a complementary feed in liquid form that provides the horse with highly available sources of magnesium .
It can be useful in young subjects, who have difficulty dealing with the first periods of competitions, especially indoor competitions.
It can also be useful in adult horses, which, due to low magnesium levels in the body, can be more nervous and difficult to manage.
Being involved in more than 300 different metabolic reactions, magnesium is a very important mineral in the world of nutrition (45). Energy production in cells, nucleic acid synthesis, muscle contraction and nerve conduction depend on the presence of magnesium.
However, in nature, not all magnesium salts have the same bioavailability for the body.
For this reason Unika has chosen three raw materials with extremely high magnesium bioavailability: magnesium citrate , magnesium aspartate and magnesium chloride .
These salts are completely soluble in water and for this reason are more easily absorbed by the body than salts that are poorly or not at all soluble, such as magnesium oxide.
Magnesium is, in fact, absorbed from the small intestine and the colon: the efficiency of absorption therefore depends on the solubility of its salt in intestinal fluids.
Human studies have shown that magnesium is capable of exerting neuroprotective effects (45) and that it is used in the production of ATP, the body's fuel.
It can therefore be said that magnesium has an energizing effect.

Instructions for use:

Use 50-100 g of Calm Mg per day, appropriately inserted into the daily diet (a small coffee glass contains approximately 70 g).
The product has the consistency of a syrup and is highly palatable to the horse.
The recommended duration of use is at least 30/40 consecutive days.
The advice we give to Calm Mg users is not to exceed the daily dose, since magnesium salts have a mild laxative effect.
(Given the specificity of each individual organism, it is always good practice to test new food products, gradually introducing them into the horse's diet to evaluate their tolerance).
