The Acavallo Classic Western Gel Seat Cover with 10mm of thickness and Dri-Lex ensures maximum safety and comfort for the rider thanks to its revolutionary design that leverages the unique shock-absorbing qualities of Acavallo therapeutic gel. The technical composition of the gel, in addition to supporting and sustaining the rider's torso, reduces trauma to the lower abdomen and neck in the event of sudden movements. The gel is covered, on the upper part, with Acavallo Dri-Lex, a fabric that combines hydrophobic and hydrophilic fibers in a composite structure unique in the industry. The inner layer stays dry, while the outer layer acts as a micro-reservoir for sweat, literally vaporizing moisture. Dri-Lex fabrics are designed to enhance the work normally done by nature; their function is to rapidly move moisture to keep the body dry and comfortable. The seat cover features an elastic strap with Velcro that runs lengthwise along the bottom of the saddle and attaches to the cushions, without altering the normal saddle support. On the two sides, the seat cover features two grip straps that attach to the inside of the saddle cushions, without altering their normal positions. The attachment system thus allows the original saddle setup to remain unchanged, while still providing the typical elegant design of Acavallo products.
