Another key feature of this compensator is its tapered shape, which ensures deep contact between the compensator and the horse's back. This combines the technical characteristics of whiters-free (free withers) and spine-free (free back), making it perfectly suited to any horse's conformation, allowing greater freedom of shoulder movement and reduced spinal pressure. A major strength of the Gel is that it prevents any unwanted movement of the saddle in any direction: forward, backward, and sideways.
