The Acavallo close-contact double-sided spine-free compensator in Classic Gel and memory foam with silicone grip is specifically designed to adapt to the horse's shape and features a unique two-piece structure that keeps the spine and withers free, allowing greater freedom of movement in the shoulders and reducing spinal pressure. In terms of materials, the compensator combines the non-slip and shock-absorbing properties of Acavallo classic Gel models with the shock-absorbing properties of memory foam. A major strength of the Gel is that it prevents any unwanted movement of the saddle in any direction: forward, backward, and sideways. The gel is also able to compensate for small imperfections in the horse's back, making it suitable even for slightly more rounded backs. The anatomical cut of the compensator and the technical characteristics of the memory foam allow the pad to adapt and deeply mold to the horse's silhouette, also allowing for the distribution of surface pressure over a large area.
