THERMOBOOT is a special rest boot from the Therapeutic Line, specifically developed for applying cold/heat therapy directly to the horse's tendons and joints. Made of Neoprene with an aluminum thermal coating for greater insulation and prolongation of the cold/heat effect, this boot includes 3D-Mesh padding that allows for optimal transfer of cold/heat and protects the horse's skin from burns. Regular use of THERMOBOOT for short periods (20-30 minutes) after intense exercise can help prevent minor injuries and/or trauma to ligaments, tendons, and joints, as well as reduce swelling, overheating, and localized pain. Cold therapy promotes vasoconstriction, reduces proteolytic enzyme activity, decreases the influx of inflammatory processes and toxins, and provides pain relief to restore circulatory health after exercise. The sooner the tendon temperature can be reduced after exercise, the better the results. THERMOBOOT can also help treat bruises, sprains, injuries, strains, and damage to tendons and joints.
